There were 2 nominations for the BAA Archer of the Year award - Neill Ovenden (Whiteleaf) and Sue Mitchell (Shenley). The voting resulted in a tie. The Chairman proposed that the nominees should hold the title for 6 months each and this was agreed.
The Archer of the Year award is presented to an archer in respect of their service to the county, or their club, or in recognition of their own personal progress or achievement so congratulations go to both of these worthy candidates.
Sue was unable to attend the AGM due to work commitments, and so Neill took charge of the trophy for the first six months. The trophy will then be presented to Sue in April/ May.
