I have attached results from the Buckinghamshire County Championships held on 1st September 2024.
On the day, we had 90 archers shooting, which is a fantastic result. Many thanks to Silver Arrow Archery Club for hosting the day and all of their members for supporting the county championships.
A number of you enquired about the Rose Awards for Senior 50+ archers. I have enquired with AGB on this subject and have received the following definitive response:
50+ Rose Awards do not currently exist. We are planning to introduce them for this age group in April 2025 as before they can start to be awarded, we need to make sure that the administrative procedures are correct, we have enough stock of badges, and we have the capacity to deliver and send them out.
I have listed those archers on the results sheet that qualify for a Rose Award. Any archers who did not claim on the day, be sure to contact me ASAP so that I can add you to the tournament claim sheet.
Upon clearing up for the day, the attached was left behind. Silver Arrow Archery Club are kindly holding on to this, so if this is yours, don't hesitate to contact them.
Finally, from me, thanks to all of the archers, judges, field party and anyone else who turned up on the day. It was a great day, and hopefully, the County can repeat the success next year!
